Well this is….something.
Variety reports that Warner Brothers is taking a page from Disney, and removing all Harry Potter DVDs from the market on December 29th. This will include the DVDs of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, which only releases next month. While this may seem a cynical move (it is), it will drive up sales for the Holidays.
This means that fans are going to have to wait for their Ultimate box set, as the only one being released on November 11 is a bare-bones edition, packaging the single discs together with nary a special feature.
